Teaching

Developing creative potential and learning through listening are at the heart of my teaching. I offer spaces where everyone can experiment, search and invent — sometimes from constraints and instructions, sometimes from the freedom of open possibilities. My artistic know-how becomes a tool serving each person’s imagination and collective expression.

Listening is central: listening to others, to their story, their words, their perceptions, but also listening to a place, an environment, the sounds around us. Through testimony, traces and memory, the aim is to learn through encounter and to create the conditions for sensitive, human and poetic expression. The artistic project then becomes a space where singularities can emerge while something shared is built.

Children naturally relate to art across disciplines: for them, the borders between practices are porous. So while favouring sound and music, I regularly open projects to other forms — body, image, words, movement — to multiply the paths of experimentation and listening.

I also give an important place to context and to historical and artistic reference points. They help participants gradually acquire a vocabulary and new tools to think about and express what they hear, feel and imagine. Teaching becomes a shared process of discovery, grounded as much in listening as in creating.
